This year’s theme ‘In Time’ explores notions of timeliness, history and music. Here’s a snapshot of the festival:

• music and poetry collaborations at Sage Gateshead including performances by Royal Northern Sinfonia
• readings from UK and international poets, workshops, panel discussions, films, exhibitions, book stalls, food stalls
• Launch of new poetry app Steps in Time: a poem-walk through Newcastle-upon-Tyne
