Sellers pay £11. Admission fee for buyers 50p

OUR NEXT CAR BOOT SALE WILL BE ON SUNDAY JUNE 28TH PLEASE READ IN FULL AND REMEMBER NO PARKING ON REEDS LANE. BUYERS DRIVE ROUND ALL THE WAY TO THE RIGHT INSIDE THE GROUND PARKING ON THE TOP FIELD PLENTY OF ROOM FOR EVERYONE .

For an experimental period , as well as cars, we will allow small vans, i.e. VW, transit and pickup for sellers, but no long wheelbase vehicles of any description, box vans, motorhomes, trailers or house clearance vans .
The rules regarding what can be sold remain the same ,inasmuch we do not allow the sale of any new goods or bankrupt stock, fake or copy items, food or drink or weapons of any description
Vans can be parked sideways on and will be charged £15..cars will be parked in the normal head on situation and will be charged £11..£1 from each seller goes to our dedicated charity WIRRAL HOSPICE ST JOHNS.
SELLERS ARE REMINDED TO REMOVE ANY RUBBISH OR UNSOLD ITEMS ON DEPARTURE.
Upon arrival at the ground sellers will be directed to the left, Buyers will be directed to the right and drive around the perimeter of the main pitch before being parked up on the top field.
PLEASE REMEMBER WE DO NOT ALLOW DOGS ANYWHERE ON SITE OR CARRIED IN A PERSONS ARMS.
There will be a separate morning and afternoon sale with times as follows
Morning sale
Sellers 8am Buyers approx 8 45am
Field to be cleared by 12 Noon
Afternoon sale
Sellers 12.30pm Buyers approx 1.15pm
There will be a £1 admission charge for buyers at each sale.
BUYERS PLEASE DO NOT PARK ON REEDS LANE. THERE IS PLENTY OF PARKING SPACE ON SITE.
Toilet and excellent refreshment facilities will be available and pass out tokens will be issued to those wishing to use these facilities. John.

Please note the positive decision regarding allowing vans to sell at the car boot sales which will come into effect on Sunday June 21st.

This is an experiment and depending on there being no rubbish it will become regular,
The vans must be normal size ie transit, VW and pickup etc NOT long wheel base nor box vans, nor motor homes, nor trailers nor rubbish from house clearance
We will always do our very best to accomodate disabled patrons

£176 raised for the Hospice at the final sale at West Kirby

Mothers Day without your Mum is horrible. My dear Mum Sarah and my children's dear Mum Marion are both safe in Heaven but missed so much here on Earth. What we would give to be able to hug them and wish them a Happy Mothers Day. Great memories but sadly so many heartaches for me today. John xx

I have just picked up in the region of 200 Everton football club programmes from the 60s 70s and 80s including tbe three programmes from 1977 league cup final game and replays against Aston Villa...which will be sold either individually or as a bulk lot to raise funds for our dedicated charity WIRRAL HOSPICE ST JOHNS please let me know if you are interested John.

As you all know this is always a particularly difficult time of the year for me personally but it does not stop me from wishing each and everyone of you health, happiness and whatever you wish for your family and friends as we await the start of a New Year. I sincerely hope that 2026 brings you lots of joy and contentment.

Just been up to Hospice today to donate £100 which I have collected by selling donated items at recent attic sales in memory of my darling wife.
With just a few days to go before the celebration of Christmas Day and amidst all tbe joy and happiness that family gatherings bring please think of families who will see an empty chair at the festive dinner table, maybe for the first time.
For them, as for me even six years on from the loss of my darling wife, the occasion will be tinged with a deep sense of loss, although hopefully many happy memories of Christmas past will ease the pain of seeing that empty chair
As I wish each and everyone of you a Happy and Peaceful Christmas, can I suggest that you give the ones you love that extra special hug , it costs absolutely nothing but means so much, how I wish that I could hug my Marion and wish her a loving and happy Christmas.
So whoever you are, whatever your beliefs might be as to the celebration of the birth of Jesus, can I wish you peace and joy, not only ever the next few days, but also throughout the New Year 2026

I have just been to Hospice to donate £100 ....this was raised £62 from clearance sale on Wednesday plus £38 from recent attic sales I have done. Thank you all for your support John..
