The Fosseway Chamber Orchestra rehearses on Tuesday mornings in Stretton-on-Fosse. With the motto “Friendship through Music,” FCO is one of the few U3A orchestras in the country. This friendly, non-auditioned ensemble warmly welcomes players of all abilities.

Come along, meet the musicians at Holy Trinity Church Hall, Stratford upon Avon on 26th November at 13.00 to find out about the joy of making music together.

The Fosseway Chamber Orchestra was formed in 2014 and meets on Tuesday mornings in Stretton on Fosse. We welcome new members. FCO is a Shipston on Stour U3A group.

Come and Sing:
Saturday 21st June 2025, 9.30am – 5.30pm, St James’ Church, Chipping Campden
A fabulous midsummer opportunity to sing glorious music in a beautiful Cotswold setting! Come and sing Vivaldi’s Gloria plus other works from the same period

Open to all choral singers
Enjoy friendly, relaxed singing sessions led by Charles Matthews, Choral Director
Brush up your vocal skills in a workshop with Alison Chamberlain, CBSO Chorus Vocal Coach
Perform with soloists and organ accompaniment with oboe and ‘cello continuo
Invite your friends to the Informal run-through performance at the end (free, donations welcome)
Hired Gloria score provided – and take away a free booklet containing the additional repertoire and notes from the vocal skills workshop
Make new friends while you enjoy the tea, coffee and cakes provided; bring your own picnic lunch or visit a lovely local pub or cafe

Cost £35 (U25s in full time education £10)
