The 2026 Border Randonnee got off to a flying start this morning. Better weather than expected. Great turnout. Team Paramount pose for their annual BR photo.

Just to confirm, that the 59 mile route has 3,800ft of ascent and the 69 mile longer route has 4,800ft of ascent. Our advice is to Ride a bike with a good range of gears as the climbing keeps on until the last few miles! Enjoy!!

Volunteers for the Randonnee met to plan the event. All the "signs" are that 2026 will be another successful day with over 80 entries so far, we're pushing for final entries to make up the100! Many thanks to Paramount committee for suppor. Looking forward to making this a great day out for Paramount riders and lots of other clubs.
