Forget your political alliances, receiving this level of praise and recognition from our local MP is a great 'Pat on the back' for the Rothwell Community and Rothwell Town Council and their Events Committee for hosting and organising the very first Manorfest!
We would like to thank the following people and Rothwell Businesses for supporting, organising, setting up and breaking down Manorfest, which we all agree, was a huge success and boost for the Rothwell Community, without their support Manorfest would not have been possible:

95% of all those involved, performed and supported Manorfest, were from within a 5 miles radius of Rothwell, so it is was a clear demonstration of what a thriving community can deliver!
We would like to also thank all our Sponsors and Food Vendors for taking a 'risk' on an first year event, with unknown attendance! All have said it was one of the best events they have attended and have all said they would come and support again...
So with that in mind, following last nights Rothwell Town Council's monthly meeting, it was agreed, by all Councillors, that it will again support and organise Manorfest next year:
