This year's festival coordinator is supportied by !

Lucy - I’m a live events professional with over 10 years of experience managing venues that host all kinds of creative entertainment, from live bands, dance productions to radio sessions.

For the past couple of years I’ve been freelancing across all sorts of event roles - I love getting stuck in wherever I’m needed and helping make things happen behind the scenes.

I’ve called Whalley Range home for nearly four years and really enjoy being part of the local community. By day, I run the kitchen at , serving up fresh, organic dishes in one of South Manchester’s most loved community spaces.

I’m also a keen volunteer with , volunteer coordinator for and now I’m super excited to be part of this year’s Celebrate!

Jess - I was the festival coordinator for last year and am glad to be doing it again! I live in Whalley Range and both my kids go to school here. I'm an event producer who has worked mainly across festivals and venues in music, arts, heritage and food. Being part of Celebrate has helped me connect with my community more deeply and I'm excited to share what we've been working on for this year!

Come see what's happening on May 4th 🌱
