We Love 80s We Love 80s is a series of concerts and events dedicated to bringing the best of the 80s back to you with nights of retro magic.

Starting with ex Spandau Ballet legend Tony Hadley with special guests Go West on 2nd June 2023 at Mote Park, Maidstone.

🚾 ARE THERE DISABLED TOILETS? 🚾
Yes, there will be a variety of toilets from disabled to standard portaloos. We will be monitoring these throughout the event to ensure that they are as clean as possible.

👩🏻‍🦼 WHAT IS ACCESSIBILITY LIKE? 👩🏻‍🦼
The event is fully wheelchair accessible.

👁 WILL THERE BE A DISABLED VIEWING AREA? 👁
Yes there is a viewing platform at Summer Love for those who need to use it and their carers.

🚗 IS THERE DISABLED PARKING? 🚗
There will be parking available for disabled customers in Mote Park’s over-flow car park.

🎟 ARE THERE TICKETS FOR THE DISABLED? 🎟
Yes, disabled customers are required to purchase a ticket. We offer a free carers pass if they need assistance. Please send ticket confirmation as well as a photo/copy of their DLA/PIP letter to us via the chat feature at www.parklivekent.com.

We will then process the documents and provide them with a carer ticket.

♻️ THE PLASTIC PACT ♻️

We’ve joined the PIRAP Plastic Pact to do our bit and reduce single-use plastic waste by 2025!

The world needs our support more than ever to reduce plastic waste and at Park Live Kent we’ll be doing our bit and need your help to do so.

We will be using reusable branded plastic 10oz and 20oz cups at all of our events this year to reduce our plastic waste by over 5 tonnes!

There will be a small charge for your first drink, and the cup will be replaced when you come back to the bar – this fee contributes towards the cup, cleaning and storage in our efforts to achieve this goal!

You will then own the cup which is a branded souvenir of your day, so feel free to take it home and reuse it to do your bit in helping the cause!

HALF PINT / 10oz CUP : £1.00
FULL PINT / 20oz CUP : £2.00

If you would rather not make a contribution for one of our reusable event cups, you’re more than welcome to bring your own.

This MUST be plastic (any vessels brought to the event that aren’t plastic will be confiscated). Please also note that drinks will simply be poured from our event cups into your vessel to ensure the correct measures are sold and may increase queuing times.

📍 WHERE IS THE WE LOVE 80S SITE LOCATED WITHIN MOTE PARK? 📍
The main entrance will be situated opposite Mote Park Café, with Mote Park’s main entrance off Mote Avenue being the best way to access the site.

⬅️ CAN WE LEAVE AND COME BACK? ➡️
You unfortunately cannot leave and re-enter the event.

🚗 IS THERE PARKING PROVIDED? 🚗
Tickets for our official car park can be purchased from the ticket page.

☔️ WHAT HAPPENS IF THERE’S BAD WEATHER? ☔️
The weather shouldn’t affect us too much because of the time of year, however, the ground may become wet and soft, so if the weather up to and including the day of the festival is wet, we would advise wearing your wellies and waterproof jackets! The forecast is for dry, warm weather.

🐩 CAN I BRING MY PET? 🐩
Unfortunately not, the only animals that are permitted on site are registered assistance dogs.

🪑 CAN I BRING A CHAIR OR BLANKET? 🪑
Yes, you’re welcome to bring your own seating (folding, camping chairs) and blankets to sit on, however please be aware that these cannot be placed directly in front of the stage because it creates a hazard. You must be behind the barriers at the back of the event which will be clearly signposted.

There will be fully-stocked bars and multiple food vendors inside the event, offering a whole host of different options.

Prices will range from £3 - £9 depending on what you order.

We feel that the pricing is fair and competitive with any pub, bar or restaurant in Maidstone town centre.

Our street food vendors are independent and therefore prices are not set by us.
However we anticipate you to spend between £5 - £9 token for a meal.
