Started 5 years ago by Liz and Claire, the markets started off originally as tabletop sales. They quickly grew from the table sales to Craft Markets and Fairs, before evolving into their current form. We very much support the Shop Local philosophy. Since the Covid Pandemic our Markets have become a lifeline to both local sellers and our customers. Our team worked hard to ensure that all our events
were Covid safe during a time that events were being cancelled our model for holding these events was so secure that we were still able to run our December 2020 markets despite Tier 3 lockdown restrictions. We have over 250 crafters/stall holders on our database to date. including food sellers, clothing retailers, and unique independent crafters. Each market has a unique mix of these stall holders which means no two markets are the same. We also limit the number of stall holders selling a particular item. Our indoor markets are held within the Village Hall in New Ash Green, Kent, DA3 8HH and at the Youth Centre New Ash Green, throughout the autumn and winter months. They run from 10-3. Our outdoor markets are held at The White Swan, Ash, Kent TN15 7HJ during the spring and summer months, plus a Christmas Market. These markets run between 11 and 4, with good food and refreshments served at the pub. We're a friendly bunch and see our markets as a social occasion. Come and join the fun!
