Saving the best for last: your last kilometre of Run Silverstone will see you following one of the most famous parts of the course.

Maggots, Becketts and Chapel is Silverstone’s fastest and most iconic sequence of corners and one of the most challenging in motorsport. The opening section, Maggots, was named for nearby Maggot Moor. Becketts and Chapel, meanwhile, take their names from the medieval chapel of St Thomas à Becket built in memory of the murdered Archbishop of Canterbury. The chapel stood near the Silverstone site and was demolished in 1943 to make way for the airfield.
