We're delighted to welcome nina anto as the latest special guest for our Warsaw Jazz Takeover.

Polish-born and LA-based, Anto is a classically trained singer, pianist, composer and producer who cut her teeth studying at BIMM London the California Institute of the Arts. Her voice - a deep contralto she spent years developing - is unlike most of what you'll hear in contemporary music.

She joins Marcin Masecki, hvmble., Warsaw Village Band and Rob Luft at Union Chapel UK this Sunday.

Passionate about the arts and culture, Kasia has hosted countless cultural events at prestigious venues including Royal Albert Hall, Wigmore Hall and Marylebone Theatre.
We couldn’t be more thrilled to have her joining us to open this year’s festival.

The piano trio is the oldest arrangement in jazz and the least forgiving. Three people, nothing to hide behind, every decision audible.

's is assembled from long acquaintance rather than casting – Jerzy Rogiewicz on drums and Max Mucha on double bass, players he has worked alongside for years across half a dozen projects. It shows in the way they handle a bolero: loosely, unhurried, more like three people remembering a song together than performing one.

It's also the setting where he finally sings. After two decades of letting the keys do the talking, he took up the melodies himself.

On 13th September, the trio share the stagge with and for our Warsaw Jazz Takeover.

But fret not – if you were looking for a dose of Polish jazz on September 12th and missed out, there are a few tickets remaining for our earlier show at Cadogan with Bobby McFerrin, Sting and Herbie Hancock collaborator Urszula Dudziak.
