All rehearsed in a day, performed that evening, followed by live music, drinks, and a proper chance to hang out with likeminded creatives.

We’re looking for a dynamic company of 20 Actors to be part of our upcoming night ‘First Draft’ on the 31st of May at the Golden Goose Theatre.

You’ll be paired with a new piece of writing (20 min extract) and a director, rehearsing from 9am and bringing it to life for a 6pm performance the same day.

This is a fast, collaborative process to bring new work to life! Scripts will be sent a few weeks in advance.

After the success of our Unfinished Business nights, we’re excited to open this up to Actors who want to get something on its feet quickly and get it in front of a supportive audience.

We are excited to hear about you!

As April rolls around, we’ve been looking back at what this year’s had in store for us so far…

We kicked things off with our second sold out Unfinished Business night at - a mix of musical pieces, new writing, dance and poetry, with playing the night as everyone stayed, mingled and made a proper evening of it.

We hosted our first wellness session. Which started with a short run into a yoga flow, finishing with a meditation led by , plus tea, pastries and some really lovely creative catch-ups.

And we closed March by making our first film… from idea to final take in 48 hours. All in one shot collaborating with a group of creatives who’d never met before. We even made a BTS film alongside it which is coming out soon too.

Feels like we’re just getting started and we can’t wait to work alongside more wonderful creatives.

We’re looking for 3 directors to take on a brand new piece of writing, rehearse it in a day, and put it in front of a live audience that same day.

You’ll be paired with a 20 min extract and a cast, meet in the morning, rehearse from 10am, and share the work in a 6pm showing at the Golden Goose Theatre.

It’s fast, collaborative and all about getting new work on its feet.

Rehearse at 10am, perform at 6pm on May 31st.

After the success of our sold out Unfinished Business nights, we are trying something a little different!

We’re looking for work-in-progress plays with 3+ characters to bring to life at the Golden Goose Theatre.

If you’ve got something sitting in a draft… send it in.
