Sligo lore pt 1
Been doing a bit of a dive on my past photos and videos and realised I’ve got too many shaky photos and videos of mad moments from nights over the years in Sligo. Might be worth doing a few more posts on stuff like this.
Slide 2: brought to play upstairs in tricky mcgarrigles in 2018. No doubt, one of the best gigs I’ve ever been too. Proper tops off buzz with my favourite DJ in my hometown, doesn’t get better than that.
Slide 3: me and Ian, , brought to Sligo for his international debut. He even named a track after Sligo (Sligo Strut). Important to note he’s on a generational run atm
Slide 4: Jackmaster played Sligo on a student night with a strobe light that many won’t forget. .music nights were pivotal in my intro to DJing and dance music.
Slide 5: with a tasty mix at one of our favourite ALNs together. Can’t beat a select Xmas party. Loose.
Slide 6: ’s first gig after a 2 year lockdown with COVID - I think we all cried atleast once during the night
Slide 7: myself dropping an old (now archived I think) track when we used to play to 60-70 people in the rave cave every Monday night
