Proud to share Memento Amare — directed by Lavinia Scott-Quinn, a film I edited and produced a few years ago, now premiering in full on YouTube today.
It tells the story of Mihai, an immigrant construction worker in the UK, torn between the memories of his family back home and the harsh realities of daily life on a building site.
Though we made this film years ago, its message feels even more relevant today.
At a time when debates around immigration and belonging are louder than ever, Memento Amare reminds us that behind every “outsider” label is a human being — with hopes, struggles, and love just like ours.
