Folk On The Dock

Folk On The Dock Folk On The Dock is a folk, roots & acoustic music festival that attracted 90,000 people. Janice Long hosted the festival and we are looking for a new location.

We're also happy to hear from interested funding and venue partners. Launched in 2016, Folk On The Dock is a folk, roots and acoustic music festival held at Albert Dock in Liverpool from the 26th until the 28th August 2017 (bank holiday weekend). The event is funded by Albert Dock and produced by Fit The Bill Ltd. The inaugural event attracted over 80,000 visitors and was nominated for a Liverpool Tourism Award for Best Large Event. There is a free Dock Stage, The Stan Ambrose Stage and several other performance venues around Albert Dock including Tate Liverpool. The Liverpool Shanty Festival is also incorporated into the event with live performances on the boats and stages around Albert Dock. There are also ticketed events and the Festival welcomes promoters interested in staging their own shows in and around Albert Dock. Contact Fit The Bill Ltd for more information.
