What an incredible weekend! We just delivered the 2026 adidas Manchester Marathon 🙌

We planned something special thanks to our talented in-house experts & crew, a supportive group of stakeholders, and our wonderfully creative partners. When over 150,000 people come out across Greater Manchester to create the most buzzing, high-energy and feel-good atmosphere ever it then goes to the next level.

👟 43,000 Participants. From Elites to First Timers
👏 Over £5,900,000 already raised for Charity
🏙️ An expected £50M+ Economic Boost to the local economy

Now we have a cheeky look forward to 2027. People are already voting with their feet, as today’s priority window has been the biggest day of sign-ups in A.S.O. UK’s history. Some places will remain for the public opening midday tomorrow.

A week we will never forget for everyone at Human Race 🌍

🐝 Last Sunday we delivered the largest half marathon Manchester has ever seen. 24,000 people achieved their goals safely and enjoyably at the 2024 Manchester Half.

👟 Then yesterday (Wednesday) we made the huge announcement that the adidas Manchester Marathon will be receiving a stunning new finish line, outside The University of Manchester on Oxford Road. All remaining places immediately sold out, and we can’t wait to welcome 36,000 people from across the world on 27th April.
