We had our WTD AGM last night and would like to thank you all for another fantastic year of overrun gigs and cancelled spots. We’re glad to announce is now fully part of the team so please, any comedian, DM him at any time if you would like a spot.
The plan for 2021/22 has now been drawn up, and our targets for the year are thus:
1) Get hot girl summer bods
2) Start our monthly WTD Comedian of The Year competition
3) Go back to this restaurant on Brick Lane and apologise for doing a runner
4) sponsorship
5) Prep for another great Apocalaughs Now with our friends at Genesis Cinema
6) Dodge paying tax by staying under the threshold (got you Sunak)
7) Brine

Presenting another one of our amazing acts for Comedy Gold, tonight at , its
Dave Green has been doing stand-up comedy since 2011. Since then his otherworldly persona and paranoid riffs on everyday life have fast proved popular with audiences in the UK and beyond. In 2018 he did his debut stand-up show ‘Melt’ at the Edinburgh Fringe festival. “The show established him as a keen writer who approaches the everyday from a different angle” (Chortle)

He has won numerous awards like the Comedy Knights Fresh Comedian and was a finalist in the Leicester Square New Comedian of the year as well as being nominated by a panel of industry professionals to take part in the Leicester Mercury Award. He has also appeared on BBC Radio 2 as part of the BBC New Comedy Award.

As well as doing stand-up comedy Dave is the creator of the highly innovative web format ‘Dave Green’s Street View Show’ in which he takes comedians on a virtual tour of their lives using Google Street View. Guests include Phil Wang, Tony Law and Angela Barnes.
