✨ Artist Highlight✨ ON THE DANCEFLOOR founder Joy Doc is a London-based drum & bass vocalist, DJ and radio host known for uplifting, vocal-led selections and high-energy performances rooted in dancefloor DnB culture.
As both an artist and curator, she blends hooky vocals, hard-hitting basslines and forward-thinking sounds - bringing an energetic and emotionally driven approach to the genre.
Her music has been released on labels including High Tea, YANA, DeVice and Manifest, earning support from platforms such as Kiss FM and BBC Introducing.
Alongside her releases, Joy Doc has performed across the UK and Europe, appearing at festivals including High Tea Festival (Amsterdam), Mountain Bass Festival in the Sierra Nevada
mountains, and Pub in the Park in St Albans.
In addition to being the founder of ON THE DANCEFLOOR, she hosts her own drum & bass radio show on Boogaloo Radio, broadcasting from The Boogaloo pub in Highgate, North London.
With a focus on connection, energy and movement, Joy Doc continues to push a vibrant and vocal-led sound both behind the mic and behind the decks.

We’re excited to welcome PONZ to the lineup for the first ON THE DANCEFLOOR launch event on Thursday 25th June at Club Makossa, Dalston.

Originally from New Zealand and now based in the UK, PONZ blends uplifting vocals with high-energy dancefloor drum & bass, bringing infectious energy to every set.

She has performed at festivals including Bay Dreams, Mardi Gras and Soundsplash, while also supporting artists such as Hybrid Minds, Sota and 1991.

Expect dancefloor energy, live vocals and euphoric vibes from start to finish 🚀
