Join Cut Out Club for a special International Women’s Day edition of their roaming zine-making workshop series. Inspired by themes of voice, visibility, resistance and celebration, this hands-on session invites you to create your own DIY publication — whether that’s a manifesto, protest poster, love letter or something quietly reflective.

Zines have long been tools of activism and self-expression. Imperfect, personal and powerful, they’re about building community from the ground up.

Expect collage, colour, conversation and a table full of materials to respond to what you’ve heard throughout the day.

No experience needed. Just curiosity.

Skip the flowers this year and make something together instead. This special Mother’s Day session is a shared, two-hour sewing experience for two people - your pace, your project, your focus.

Choose what you’d like to learn:

- Sew — master your sewing machine basics
- Mend — repair tears, seams and holes
- Alter — adjust clothes for the perfect fit
- Upcycle — refresh old garments with creative details

Led by Kavitha, founder of with 30+ years of experience, this session is beginner-friendly and completely tailored to you. You’ll leave with practical skills, something worked on, and the confidence to keep going at home.

All tools provided. Just bring your garment or idea. Sessions include a free drink.

Our first Shoreditch Charity Carol Concert t’was a night to remember 🫶

We raised an incredible SIX THOUSAND POUNDS 🥳 to support people who experience hunger and food insecurity through Hackney Lighthouse and the World Food Programme 🙏

Thank you to everyone who came along and donated, thank you to all the amazing performers, thank you to our sponsors, and thank you to all the volunteers who made it happen.

When people come together and gather for GOOD, it’s something magic 🤩

From our growing team, raising £15k through our charity events, pushing zero-waste events forward… this year has been amazing 🤩
