The aim of the campaign was to encourage existing sake consumers to share their love for sake and show how it has become part of their everyday lives. It was conceived in response to the impact of COVID-19 on the sake industry: the pandemic has had a significant

negative impact on sake shipments due to temporary restaurant closures worldwide. JSS wanted to inspire people to share how they enjoy sake through this competition, and hope that the images shared will continue to boost the popularity of sake. The hope now is for Sakegraphy to continue to inspire and educate sake drinkers worldwide.
