We're live in Budapest! 🎥

Find us at Astra Filmland, stand 400–500 at Euro Cine Expo today and tomorrow (8th–9th May). Come and see two things we're particularly excited about right now:

Lens Link — extreme range wireless lens control. Whether you're shooting across a vast location or just want to cut the cable, Lens Link extends your reach further than you'd think possible.

LDT-V2 — wireless lens data for virtual production. Live, accurate FIZ data streamed straight into Unreal Engine and other media players, without the cable run back to the volume.

Two very different problems. Two very clean solutions. Come and see them both in action.

Project Hail Mary hits cinemas on the 20th. ✨

When a film is built around science — and a VFX budget to match — every piece of data captured on set matters. Our LDT-A2 was on set to ensure lens metadata was recorded accurately, frame by frame, so the VFX team could focus on telling the story rather than solving problems in post.

Lens data. The detail that makes the difference.

One Piece Season 2 is here. 🎬

Bringing the Grand Line to life demands some of the most complex VFX work on television — and accurate lens data is what makes that seamless. Our LDT-M2 captured frame-by-frame lens metadata on set, giving the VFX team exactly what they needed to integrate CG elements with the live-action footage without the guesswork.

Fix it in pre, not post.

🎬 On-set data is only valuable if it makes it to post in one piece.

That's the conversation we're bringing to SXSW this year.

Our General Manager, Gary, will be in Austin representing DCS — and we're looking to connect with everyone in the VFX supply chain, from onset data capture right through to post-production workflows. If you work in production, VFX, or anywhere in between, we'd love to talk about how better metadata practices can save time, budget, and creative energy downstream.

If you're heading to SXSW and want to grab a meeting, drop us a message or reach out to Gary directly.

That camera? It's outside the building. The person controlling it? Inside.

BSC Expo has some of the worst RF signals in the industry. We're talking dead zones where your phone is basically a brick.

So naturally, we decided to demonstrate the Lens Link there.

We rigged a camera outside the front of the venue on a Sunbelt crane. Our booth was inside — through walls, crowds, and a sea of competing frequencies. We connected a handset at the booth, ran a cable out to an LDT-RX1, and let the sub-WiFi frequencies do the rest.

The result? Smooth, responsive iris control. No dropouts. No hesitation. In an RF environment that defeats everything else.

This isn't a range record — it was a proof of concept. If the Lens Link can cut through BSC, it can cut through your set.
Control beyond limits. 🎥

Thanks to Sunbelt Rentals for the camera and the crane.

Great to be featured on CineD at BSC Expo 2026 — our GM Gary, chatted with Nino to explain what Lens Link is all about.

Lens Link is DCS's long-range extender for lens control systems, solving a real on-set problem: keeping reliable lens metadata flowing over greater distances between camera and lens motor systems.

The DCS Lens Link promises to extend the operating range of your lens control system up to 2km. We checked it out at BSC Expo 2026.

The last few weeks have been a busy one. 🎬

We acquired UMeT from CineDev, marking DCS's first step into VFX-facing software and a significant expansion of what we can offer across the production pipeline.

We exhibited at ISE in Barcelona and BSC Expo in London, connecting with the people who care most about getting lens data right from the first day of principal photography.

And we launched Lens Link — our wireless lens control range extender, offering up to 2km range and unlimited range via Ethernet. For anyone who's wrestled with signal drop-off on a large stage or exterior, you'll understand why this matters.

To celebrate the launch, we're offering 25% off the first 25 units. If you're interested, get in touch at [email protected] before they're gone.

Day 2 at BSC Expo and the response to Lens Link has been incredible. 📽️

The conversations we're having at booth 142 are exactly what we hoped for—DITs, 1st ACs, and DOPs genuinely excited about solving real range and reliability challenges they face on set.

The RF environment here is absolutely brutal (even mobile phones struggle), but seeing people's faces when they realise we've got the kit working outside the building? That's been the highlight. It's one thing to talk about reliability—it's another to prove it in the worst possible conditions.

One more day to experience it for yourself. We're here until 5pm tomorrow.

What a VIP evening at BSC Expo! 🎬

Booth 142 was buzzing tonight as we officially launched Lens Link to the industry. The response has been everything we hoped for—genuine excitement and brilliant conversations about solving real range and reliability challenges. Here are some pics of the setup before the crowds arrived.

Professional wireless lens control with 2km range (and unlimited via Ethernet) in a package designed for real-world productions. No more compromises.

If you missed the VIP evening, don't worry—we're here all day tomorrow (10am - 7pm) for the full first day of the show. Come see it in action.
See you at booth 142. ✨
