Just a heads up, 1st release tickets are almost sold out for the 21st February event. Prices go up tomorrow, so don’t wait till the last minute if you’re coming!

There will be tickets at the door, but more expensive and get there early as the space is limited.

We’re kicking off the Romantic Goth edition right after Valentine’s.

On 21st February, from 4 PM–11 PM, we will take you through 80s goth, darkwave, EBM, and industrial techno. Some nostalgic vibes, some heavy hitting moments, and some that just make sense echoing inside a church with dim lights and massive sound. If you love dark music, this is your home for the night.

If you’re still deciding what you’re doing this Saturday, this is your sign. Necropolis returns to on 21 February with our Romantic Goth edition, inside the church, from 4 PM till 11 PM, as the light fades and the atmosphere slowly shifts.

Expect a night that moves between 80s goth, darkwave, EBM and industrial techno, with a crowd that actually shows up with intention, creativity, and good energy. Just music, connection, and space to be yourself.

You’ve been all asking when is our next event. This Saturday, on 21st February we are back again at 🖤

As you step into this hauntingly beautiful venue transformed from church, you will surrounded by an atmosphere that is both mysterious and intoxicating.

Set against the gothic backdrop of an ancient 16th century church, Necropolis is a festival dedicated to the darker edges of electronic sound, spanning darkwave, 80s Goth, EBM and industrial techno.

About the Venue: The Old Church is the only remaining Elizabethan church in London and one of the oldest in the country to have been built as an Anglican church. It owes its origins to Stoke Newington’s sixteenth century Lord of the Manor, William Patten. In 1563 he decided to rebuild the old parish church, which had become almost derelict. You can see the date, and the motto ‘ab alto’ (‘from above’), above the main door.

Only 6 days to go until returns ⛪️

On 21 February, we’re back at with our Romantic Goth edition.Expect an atmosphere that leans into romance and darkness in the best way.

Musically, the night moves through 80s goth, darkwave, EBM and industrial techno, perfectly fitting the church setting as the light fades and the space transforms. Doors open at 4 PM and we go until 11 PM, so you get the full journey from day into dark night.

Romantic Goth just after Valentine’s feels right, doesn’t it? 🥀

This time Romantic Goth edition, just after Valentine’s, think lace, velvet, leather, dramatic coats, soft makeup, dark lipstick, silver jewellery… or honestly whatever your version of romantic goth is. There’s no strict dress code, be comfortable, be free. We love seeing how everyone being creative with the theme in their own way.

Music wise, expect between 80s goth, darkwave, EBM and industrial techno. Some nostalgic moments, some heavier ones, some that just make sense inside a church with dim light and big sound. If you like dark music, you’ll feel at home.

on 31st January was something truly special for us. Celebrating our 3 years anniversary at the church with the best music and with all of you, honestly felt like a full circle moment.

Seeing so many familiar faces, some of you who were there at our very first event ever, hit us right in the heart 🖤

Old friends, old souls, that same dark vibe that started it all… it reminded us why Necropolis exists in the first place. This was a shared memory, a reunion, a feeling.

To everyone who came, danced with us, lost themselves in the music, and helped shape the night: thank you. Your energy, your trust, your love for our sound, this is what keeps us going.

And because we’re still riding that feeling… we’re already looking ahead. Our next Necropolis is coming 21st February, and if the last one was anything to go by, you already know this one is not one to miss.

Early bird tickets are out now on Resident Advisor, and they won’t be around for long. If you felt that vibe, if you want to be part of the next chapter, or if you couldn’t make it to our last event and always wanted to come, join us on 21st February!

3 years anniversary celebration is tomorrow! ⛪️

And here is the accessibility info:
Nearest Station: The closest Overground station is Canonbury. Please note that only the Windrush Line has step free access, and this is available only at the disabled carriage. If traveling by wheelchair from this station, the journey is a straight line and around 15 minutes of rolling.
Alternatively, buses 73 and 476 can take you there; the exit stop is Stoke Newington Town Hall.

On Arrival: The Access Manager will be wearing a purple vest and can assist with anything you may need. For specific assistance or any questions, please contact directly.

Venue Access: Security will assist at the main door, from where you enter the space immediately. Please note that it is a small, older venue, but we will do our best to accommodate everyone.

Seating: For those who cannot walk or roll to the back, seating will be placed outside the main door.

Companion Tickets: Due to the small size of the venue, only a limited number of companion tickets are available.

Cloakroom: There is no cloakroom as it’s an old church, so please come prepared.
