📣Calling all creatives, performers & makers of Woodberry Down! 📣

The Woodberry Down Pavilion designed by 11 brilliant young minds is now open in Spring Park and ready to host your ideas!!

From now until 5th October, you can book the space for free to run workshops, performances, talks, picnics, or anything that brings people together ✨

Need some funding support? You can apply for a small grant of up to £250 to help cover costs of an event which is creative, cultural and open to others. We’ll also help promote it as part of the Pavilion Community Programme.

➡️The day will also feature the launch of the Woodberry Down Pavilion - a youth-designed temporary space for creative and cultural activities in Woodberry Down. Swipe to see some of the BTS creatives that have gone into this project 🔥

The pavilion was designed by young people aged 14–19 who live, study, or work in Woodberry Down, during workshops led by RC/YYC, Hackney-based architects and access and outreach leads at the London School of Architecture. 

This project explored how public spaces can support community events and local identity and helped shape a vibrant new venue for artistic expression and connection. The project was commissioned by the London Borough of Hackney as part of the Woodberry Down Culture Programme, with funding from Notting Hill Genesis, the London Borough of Hackney, support from Berkeley Homes and support from Manor House Development Trust.
