We are thrilled to announce our fourth event of the year as resident theatre company at The Epstein Theatre:
NAUGHTY CORNER RECOMMENDS
THREE NIGHTS. THREE SHOWS
three nights showcasing three outstanding shows from exceptional companies and performers, all handpicked and bearing our seal of approval.
🚨 MONDAY 20th JULY
NAUGHTY CORNER RECOMMENDS:
🪰 A FLY ON THE WALL - CONCRETE
Tristan’s got another deadline. Craig’s got another hangover. The meter needs topping up. (Again.)
If you’re too afraid to make a decision, sometimes the universe has to make one for You.
When murky family politics unexpectedly brings a baby to the door, the bounds of their friendship are pushed to the limit. In the purgatory of adulthood, can they escape the cycle of this underfunded end of the line town or is the familiarity of home too hard to let go off?

🚨 TUESDAY 21st JULY
NAUGHTY CORNER RECOMMENDS:
⚠️ GRITTY GAZE - PLACEBO
A fever dream of power, pills, and the cost of leaving. PLACEBO is a night of sweat scrapyard spectres, and scalding humour.
The play follows OWEN and HOARDER, two unlikely survivors bound together in the aftermath of collapse by necessity, dependency and something far harder to name. As their routine begins to fracture, the pills wear off and paranoia seeps in, the line between care and control splinters beyond repair.

🚨 WEDNESDAY 22nd JULY
NAUGHTY CORNER RECOMMENDS
💄 MULTITUDE - DIVORCE ME, DIERDRA
Join us for one night only at the Epstein Theatre, where we meet drag performer Jay in his dressing room as he prepares to take to the stage as Dierdra. Fresh off the back of a tour of bingo halls along the Pennine Way and a struggling caravan park in Cleethorpes, and nursing wounds from a recent divorce, Jay is ready to escape once more into Deirdra’s heels and frocks to entertain the masses.
With special guest, Gillian Hardie, from the original West End productions of Kinky Boots and Bad Girls the Musical, and featuring performers from BOST Musicals. The show’s musical director is David Wall.
