We are one of two Rotary Clubs in Sefton who meet at the Pioneer Restaurant & Bar, Liverpool Road, Crosby. We have a variety of Social events, and are best known for our Christmas Float collection, and our Beer Festival now in its 7th Year.

Last Friday evening Crosby Rotary Club’s President Geraint Short had great pleasure in presenting donations to recipients of our Santa Float Xmas Collections. Thanks to the generosity of the people of Crosby, Waterloo, Thornton and Hightown a total of over £13,000 was distributed between the following local Charities and organisations:

Last Thursday Geraint Short, President of Crosby Rotary Club, presented £2,000.00 to Dr Alison Waghorn, Clinical Lead at Liverpool Teaching Hospital Breast Unit. The money will go to apparatus to regulate temperature of diagnostic materials ln breast examination.
The money was raised through sponsorship of Rotarian Dr Milind Shrotri and his wife Dr Anupama Shroti’s expedition to climb Mount Kilimanjaro late last year.

A great big thank you to all the people of Crosby, Waterloo, Thornton and Hightown who donated and came out and waved to Santa on his Float.
Because of your generosity we have raised over £13,000 which will all be going to local Charities and Good Causes.
Also thanks to everyone who volunteered to help with our collections particularly on the rainy nights, without your support we would not be able to bring the Santa Float around.
We wish everyone a Happy Christmas and a Good New Year. 🎅🏼

WE WILL BE OPERATING OUR USUAL CASH COLLECTION AND YOU CAN ALSO DONATE USING YOUR MOBILE PHONE. JUST SWITCH YOUR PHONE ONTO “CAMERA” AND POINT YOUR PHONE AT THE QR CODE THAT ALL OUR COLLECTORS WILL HAVE AND FOLLOW THE SIMPLE INSTRUCTIONS.

Please be aware that whilst it is always our intention to complete the rounds we cannot guarantee that we will be able to do so. If, due to circumstances beyond our control, we are unable to complete the round, we will try and inform people on social media as soon as is possible as to what has happened and we will endeavour to complete the round at a later date. Please note we cannot answer any posts during the round as everyone is out helping.
We will be operating our usual cash collection but you can also donate via your mobile phone, each collector’s tin will have a QR CODE printed on it, also you can donate now by clicking on the link above.
