Label head and founder of Animals on Psychedelics, Carl H has spent more than 20 years carving out a distinctive path through the outer reaches of electronic music.

Hailing from the seaside town of Cleethorpes, Carl has shared his sound worldwide, bringing his unmistakable style to everything from intimate club spaces to major festival finales across Europe, Asia and the Americas.

His selections weave together psychedelic excursions, leftfield house and obscure trance, seamlessly blurring genres whilst staying deeply connected to the dancefloor.

A key figure in Belgium’s revered underground scene, Rino co-runs the acclaimed Beautiful Freaks party alongside Walrus. His sets effortlessly blur the lines between house and techno, guided by deep grooves, rolling rhythms, the psychedelic and obscure.

Rino has been turning heads wherever he goes. After standout sets across the world, including a legendary performance at Waking Life (slide 5), we’re more than excited to welcome him to Liverpool. On 1st August, he joins us to celebrate 5 years of Neu Snd for what promises to be our biggest party yet 🌞

Introducing our first artist:

DMC is a multi-genre DJ, producer, musician & turntablist

A proud Scouser, great friend, and all round boss person. Five years ago, he headlined the very first Neu Snd party, so it only felt right to welcome him back to celebrate our birthday with us

Danny’s style could be described as driving, euphoric, percussive and psychedelic. His dedication to the craft has allowed him to travel through the world to play his records.

We can’t wait to see what he brings for us all on 1st August!

5 years of Neu Snd.

Ahead of our 5th birthday party announcement, we thought we’d share some moments from our favourite parties over the years.

We started this party as 4 mates who had recently discovered the scene and spent the whole of lockdown learning to mix vinyl in our studio. Not long after, we created “Neu Snd” as a way to bring our new sound to the city.

Neu Snd has led us to so many opportunities, and we’ve met so many great friends along the way too.

As a thank you, we’ll be hosting a special day-to-night party with 3 headliners on Saturday 1st August.

Hidden beneath the Invisible Wind Factory in the city’s historic docklands, is Liverpool’s underground dancefloor. Dark, stripped-back and intimate, built for people who come to listen and lose themselves. No distractions, just raw energy and nights that feel alive.
