Directed by award-winning choir director and vocal coach Hayli Kincade, Wavertree Gospel Choir are known for their community spirit, contagious energy and passion for music. A collective of people from all backgrounds, ages and faiths – with singers and non-singers alike – brought together through uplifting gospel songs. Their diversity is reflected in everything they do, offering something for everyone.

Since her debut in 2023, Tofunmi Adorna has been named Best Newcomer at the Premier Gospel Awards, received a MOBO nomination for Best Gospel Act, and performed at the Royal Albert Hall and Glastonbury. Known as the 'little firecracker' for her soul-stirring sound, she's one of the most exciting emerging voices in UK gospel music right now.

We're delighted to share that Anu Omideyi has been nominated for Merseyside Woman of the Year 2026! 🏆🎶

Anu is Director of the National Gospel Music Centre at Liverpool Lighthouse, founder of the Liverpool Gospel Music Festival – the UK's first and biggest festival of its kind – and has spent years building the infrastructure for gospel music in this country, including developing the world's first graded gospel vocals qualifications. In 2024 she was awarded an RSL Fellowship for her services to music.

Two incredible choirs, one unforgettable performance 💛🙌🏽

Love & Joy Gospel Choir have been spreading gospel joy across the city since 1987 – performing at Liverpool Philharmonic Hall, the House of Commons and venues around the world. Lighthouse Choir was born during lockdown and has since featured on the BBC including Comic Relief, and on ITV. Together on the LGMF2025 stage, they were pure magic ✨🔥
