Home to an abundance of diverse fauna and flora. Offering a range of family nature activities and heritage craft courses.

Wrap yourself in layers of time, with a unique historical walking tour of Wrongs Covert.

Take a journey through glacial chalk stream creation, Neolithic flint making, Anglo-Saxon animal husbandry, bronze age settlements, medieval moving on and more... Led by art historian, storyteller and Treow Woodland Project leader Roxanne Matthews.

Tickets include tea, coffee and cake in the woods.

Step back in time and craft your own beautiful leather water flask, with Treow Woodland Project and facilitator Spencer Loades.

Soak up the riverside wonder while you learn how to work with leather, thread and wax to create your own to take home.

We are so excited to bring you a new, unique programme of heritage craft courses at Wrongs Covert this summer, with our friends at Treow Woodland Project.

Using traditional materials and techniques handed down through generations, and working with skilled craftspeople and artists, all in our beautiful woodland setting.

Where possible, we'll also be using sustainable materials that can be found on site, connecting us back to the land around us.

Welcome to Wrongs Covert, a beautiful ancient woodland site just 12 miles north-west of Norwich.

We cover 25 acres along the River Wensum and we're home to an abundance of diverse fauna and flora, including a family of otters! Over the past centuries Wrongs has escaped any form of invasive change and has become a haven for many rare and endangered species of plants, birds and animals.

We’re passionate about providing opportunities for people to reconnect with the land, community and themselves. Alongside our woodland conservation project, we’re working with Treow Woodland Project to develop a programme of activities, events and courses, including heritage crafts, bushcraft skills, and creative workshops inspired by nature and the natural materials that can be found here.

We also offer guided tours that explore the history of the site, which includes an old Saxon road wandered by pilgrims.
