Hawksworth School are taking full advantage of their stunning location, perched on the side of a hill between the Aire and Wharfe valleys! Several years later and it was time for a change. We introduced a brand new route in 2018, starting at the top of the now famous Odda. After an enforced break (pandemic!) we can now once again offer those wanting to run 10k the chance to run two loops of a scenic and challenging 5k. The alternative is to pair up with a running buddy to race the Up the Odda Duo, 5k each in a relay. With some of the friendliest marshals around and our wonderful home baked goodies at the finish, it is a race that will leave you with a smile. A quality memento for all finishers and age group prizes. The Hawksworth Dash junior races include a short 400 meter dash for 5 and 6 year olds, then the 1 mile race for 7 to 11 year olds and the 2 mile race for 12 to 16 year olds.
