Thanks to everyone who joined us at The Arc Cinema in Rotherham this weekend as part of INDIs on Tour! 📽️

Young film fans watched horror shorts created by young people at Grimm & Co. INDIs award-winning shorts, alongside networking with other together with our team and other creatives.

INDIs on Tour events are created to support young people to shape film, cinema, screenings and spaces in the ways they want to see.

We’re teaming up with Screen Yorkshire to bring a FREE screening to The Arc Cinema, Rotherham, Saturday 17 Jan at 10AM, as part of INDIs on Tour!

See hand-picked short films made by young filmmakers. There'll be horror shorts created by young people at Grimm & Co. and INDIs award-winning shorts from our festivals.

The INDIs team will be there too - come see some great films, chat about how you want to shape film and cinema, and meet and network with other young film fans and creatives!

INDIs on tour is coming to Rotherham!

✨Young People 15+, friends and family + Rotherham Cinema goers✨

Featuring a celebration of short horror-themed shorts films made by local young people At Grimm and Co, alongside a curated selection of INDIs award‑winning shorts made by 16–25 year olds from across the UK.

PLUS a chance for you to get involved in your local film scene and help us create a space for the films that matter to you - We'll be there to talk with you about what you want to see on screen and what you want from your ideal cinema space. It's your voice, your stories and your cinema.

HUGE congratulations to the cohorts of this year's BFI Film Academy in Leeds and Bradford for their brilliant premiere celebration event this weekend!

INDIs on Tour | Filmmaking day in Skipton
For ages 16-15

In collaboration with Screen Yorkshire, spend the day exploring careers in social media, TV and film. Get hands-on making your own micro-documentary, from filming interviews to editing your footage, while industry professionals share insights into breaking into the screen sector. Your finished films will be showcased on Sunday at Skipton Plaza Cinema.

Introducing Jeanine Guerida, who took part in the very first course in Leeds, and is now working as a producer, runs her own video production company, and is also one of our industry mentors!
