Sue Burge and I have been brainstorming on charms, spells, and folk beliefs from East Anglia for these workshops and we promise you will NOT be disappointed! Sign up for one or both workshops - explore what it might have been like to live during the times of witch-finding hysteria, and create your own own charms and spells. Your work will be incorporated into the exhibition at Stories of Lynn Museum which will run to the end of October 2026:

Well well, you lucky lot! You're going to get not one but TWO opportunities to see the fabulous Don't Go Into The Cellar! Theatre Company in King's Lynn this Autumn!
First up will be 'Titanic Tales!' hosted by True's Yard Fisherfolk Museum on 10th October. Then Jonathan will be gracing the Marriott's Warehouse Trust on the Quay with 'Confessions of Sweeney Todd' as part of our own WyrdFest on Friday 6th November.

Call for volunteers!
If you’ve been following us in recent weeks, you will know that CULTure Babylon, in addition to the Fear in the Fens Festival is also producing West Norfolk Wyrdfest during October and November.
This is going to be a lot of work for us and we are asking for a handful of volunteers to join us to provide front of house support and some other tasks.
You will get to see what it takes to put a festival on and enjoy the buzz of putting on live events.
Volunteers will only be asked to work evenings and during the weekends, so volunteering should suit those who are working as well as those who are not.
If you’re interested in being part of Fear in the Fens and/or Wyrdfest, please send us a DM for an informal chat!
