It’s nearly time for the third annual Northants Board Game Convention, happening on Friday 31st July & Saturday 1st August 2026. We cannot wait to be in Kettering Arts Centre once more with friends and families coming together to enjoy games, fun and good food, and a tournament or two! We have something for everyone.

Listen out for Gav on BB Radio Northampton this morning 👏

Listen out for our Gav on the BBC Northamptonshire radio this morning!

He’ll be on from 9:40am with Annabel Amos taking part in the dream meal part of the show.

It sounds like the feature is influenced by James Acaster and Ed Gambles huge Off Menu podcast, so we’ll see how many nods to the genie waiter Gav can get in (POPPADOMS or BREAD Gav!) 🥖

Introduction to role-play gaming
We are so excited to announce that we are so lucky to have sessions on both days for groups of up to 4 players per session, each session will be an 1 hour and 30 minutes with an introduction to roleplaying including choosing a premade character and playing an adventure.
These sessions start at 10.15.
To join in a session sign up at the front desk in the main hall and go to the Robinson room when it's your time.
The sessions will be introduced using the pathfinder system and run by the outstanding Darrell impey who we are so lucky to have at the convention.
So if you've never tried roleplaying games before and want to give it a try this is your chance.
At this year's Northant's boardgame convention on the 1st and 2nd of August.
