We couldn’t think of a better place for today’s ✨ a game a day til NORBCON 2026 - Northants Board Game Convention - one week to go! ✨

Sugarbush Bakery on Market St is one of our go-tos for lunch & coffee, everything is absolutely delicious and we are so excited to have them with us at NORBCON this year!

Coffee Rush is a game of cleverly collecting the ingredients you need to fulfil your customers’ drink orders before it’s too late ☕️ The little resources & cups are so cute, you really feel like you are working as a busy barista. This is one of those games that we feel like even people who ‘don’t like board games’ will enjoy!

It’s always a pleasure to have the Mayor of Kettering Lauren Glanfield at our Boards of Kettering events!

We’re very excited that she’ll be joining us for NORBCON 2026 - Northants Board Game Convention hopefully across both days.

Did you know we run tournaments throughout the weekend that all ages can enter for free? You could end up taking on the Mayor in a Connect 4 final!

Or will this be the year that someone finally takes Polly’s Dro Polter title after her winning consistently every year!? (What’s Dro Polter? I hear you ask. Link shared in the comments)

That Pink Shop is kindly letting us dress their shop window for the week running up to NORBCON to spread the word.

Boards of Kettering have stocked games in That Pink Shop (formally The Bean Hive) since 2019 and you can also find us in Kitsch Mitch in Kettering & Vintage Guru in Northampton!

We will have a huge range games for sale at NORBCON alongside our friends from Reroll Board Game Cafe in Leicester. Come and discover something new! 😄
