Brigstock Beer Festival The official page for the Annual Brigstock Beer Festival, held in a village in Northamptonshire.

Welcome to the page for the Brigstock Beer Festival. We aim to provide a day's beer tasting, good music and entertainment for all the family, with all profits going to local charities. Our main recipient this year will be the wonderful Cransley Hospice. Cransley Hospice provide provides care to patients where they choose to be. This may be in the patient's own home, outpatients, or within

the hospice in-patient unit. Each year, the Hospice has to raise ยฃ1.4 Million to provide their inpatient and community based services, so let us try to help where we can to keep this vital service going. Since our first festival in 2005, we have raised over ยฃ94,800, with the main recipients being Warwickshire and Northamptonshire Air Ambulance, the Kettering General Hospital Childrens Special Care Unit, Kettering's Bladder and Bowel Foundation, Lakelands Hospice and Headway. In addition we have raised funds for other local groups, helped fund the bridge over the brook and smaller projects such as a new park bench at the cemetery and a new village notice board. So once again a HUGE thank you to all who have attended and donated towards these worthy causes!

We are incredibly proud to announce that Lakelands Hospice, Corby will be our main charity partner for Brigstock Beer Festival 2026.

Lakelands Hospice provides invaluable care, support and compassion to individuals and families across our local community during some of life's most challenging times.

As a non-profit community festival, supporting local causes remains at the heart of everything we do, and we are honoured to be supporting such a fantastic organisation this year.

We look forward to working with the Lakelands team and helping raise vital funds through this year's festival.

Before we start sharing plans for the 2026 Brigstock Beer Festival, we wanted to celebrate what you helped achieve in 2025.

Thanks to your incredible support, ยฃ5,944.80 was donated back into local charities and community groups โ€” supporting the people and projects that make Brigstock so special โค๏ธ

Do you love organisation, community events, and being part of a fantastic local team? The Brigstock Beer Festival Committee is looking for a Volunteer Secretary to help us deliver one of the villageโ€™s most loved annual events!

This is a brilliant opportunity to get involved behind the scenes, support local charities, and work with a friendly and passionate group of volunteers.

๐‘๐จ๐ฅ๐ž ๐‘๐ž๐ฌ๐ฉ๐จ๐ง๐ฌ๐ข๐›๐ข๐ฅ๐ข๐ญ๐ข๐ž๐ฌ

As Secretary, you will play a key part in keeping the festival running smoothly. Your main duties will include:

๐Ÿ“Œ ๐‘ช๐’๐’Ž๐’Ž๐’Š๐’•๐’•๐’†๐’† & ๐‘ด๐’†๐’†๐’•๐’Š๐’๐’ˆ๐’”

Booking and arranging access to venues for committee meetings.

Taking minutes during Committee Lead meetings, noting action points, and circulating them to committee and subcommittee members.

๐Ÿ“Œ ๐‘ช๐’๐’Ž๐’Ž๐’–๐’๐’Š๐’„๐’‚๐’•๐’Š๐’๐’ & ๐‘จ๐’…๐’Ž๐’Š๐’

Managing the Beer Festival WhatsApp groups and ensuring only active members remain.

Overseeing the shared drive and subfolders, ensuring access is up to date.

Maintaining the Chair and Secretary shared folder.

Monitoring the official Brigstock Beer Festival email account.

๐Ÿ“Œ ๐‘ญ๐’†๐’”๐’•๐’Š๐’—๐’‚๐’ ๐‘ช๐’๐’Ž๐’‘๐’๐’Š๐’‚๐’๐’„๐’† & ๐‘ญ๐’๐’๐’๐’๐’˜-๐’–๐’‘

Ensuring all insurance and risk assessments are completed and in place before the festival.

Sending thank-you letters to everyone involved after the event.

Helping coordinate the AGM, including collating donation requests.

Liaising with the Treasurer to ensure charity donations are processed promptly after the AGM.
