I can’t believe it’s already been a week since Keswick Mountain Festival!

With that in mind, I’ve got two questions for you…

What was your favourite part of the festival?! Sports? Speakers? Food? Friends?

Will I see you next year? If so, have you got your eye on any particular event?!

Oh yeah, and as a bonus third question… where was this weather last week?! Have an awesome bank holiday everyone!

The Festival may have come to a close, but the memories are still very much alive.

From sunrise runs and finish-line celebrations to big mountain moments and beers by the lake, Thule KMF26 gave us a weekend we won’t forget in a hurry.

It’s and I’m still buzzing after an awesome weekend at Keswick Mountain Festival so… I want to know how you got on?!

Tried a new event? Ran your longest distance yet? Scored a brand new PB? I want to know! What about all you swimmers, cyclists and triathletes too?! Incredible work!

In the past, I’ve ran Skiddaw, the 25km, the 10km and the 3-peaks hike so I know how challenging (and rewarding) each event can be!

I tell you what though, I know we all did awesome but can I give an extra sprinkling of kudos to those who tackled the 50k yesterday! That is a beast of an event and I bumped into a handful of runners during the back half of the 10k who looked absolutely brilliant despite being 45km in! I couldn’t keep up!

From the 5k to the 50k, we all smashed it this weekend so give yourselves some well earned kudos in the comments!

From Friday’s first arrivals to a packed crowd for Jasmin Paris closing out the Ellis Brigham Talks on Sunday afternoon, this year’s festival has been unforgettable from start to finish.

Across the weekend, thousands of you joined us in Keswick to run, hike, swim, paddle, ride, dance, listen, explore and celebrate everything that makes the outdoors so special - all while bravely enduring a distinctly un-May-like blast of cold in the Lakes.

A huge thank you to everyone who came along and brought the energy all weekend long. To our headline partner Thule, all of our sponsors and partners, the brilliant artists, speakers and event teams, and especially our incredible marshals and volunteers - thank you for making it happen.

We’re tired, grateful, a bit cold… and thinking, maybe we will do it all again ⛰️🍻

Sunday at Thule KMF is well underway ⛰️

From the adidas TERREX 10K tearing through the trails, to steady miles and big smiles on the TUI Lakes & Mountains 3 Peaks Hike, the final day of sporting action with effort, adventure and achievement across the fells.

Different distances, different goals - same sense of getting stuck into it in one of the best places to do it.

Up before the town. Out on the trails before the world had properly woken up. 🌅

This morning’s Bridgedale Dawn Run was something pretty special.

As first light broke over Keswick, runners headed out through the quiet trails towards Castlerigg Stone Circle, arriving just in time to welcome the sunrise among the ancient stones. Drums echoed across the hillside, the sky slowly changed colour overhead, and for a few minutes everything went still.

Then it was back down into town for coffee, pastries and the kind of conversations that only happen after sharing an experience like that together.

A magical way to start the final day.
