DEVON COUNTY PADEL MENS OVER 60s TEAM

In the National Team Padel County Event in Bristol , the Devon Men Over 60's did exceptionally well this year by drawing one rubber each match in the league stages with South Wales , Leicestershire and then a very close match with Avon. One of the games being 11-9 to Devon in the tie break play off .

This put us in 3rd place in the league and then Devon beat Oxfordshire and Wiltshire in the playoffs which again were very close games.

Captain Jon Rycroft was delighted with the team's performances and the progress Devon has made in just a year. The team finished the weekend undefeated, a fantastic achievement.

A huge congratulations to Rob Hayes, Steve Cockram, Neil Rutter, and super sub Gary Peters, who stepped in at the last minute and made a valuable contribution to the team's success. Well done to everyone involved!
