Smalley 5 Bells

Smalley 5 Bells Experience the inspiring atmosphere of one of the UK’s friendliest running clubs by taking part in the ‘Smalley 5 Bells’ race this summer.

The challenging, yet enjoyable 5 mile route is inclusive for beginners, intermediate and advanced runners alike. It takes in the beautiful locations surrounding Smalley, Mapperley and Shipley Country Park. The course is a multi-terrain trail race, which includes scenic woodland, bridleways and rural paths through the picturesque countryside.

What a day!! loved every minute!

Thank you so much to our amazing event team, our coordinators, our marshals and event support! We couldn't put the race on without them and know they made you all feel welcome!!

That’s a wrap for another fantastic day at Smalley 5 Bells!🎉

A massive thank you to everyone who came along, played, cheered, and supported the event—you all helped make it a brilliant day! 👏

A special shout-out to all of our amazing volunteers and everyone who worked behind the scenes. From setting up and keeping things running smoothly to serving drinks, scoring, and helping throughout the day, this event wouldn’t have been possible without your time, effort, and dedication. 🧡
