For nearly 180 years, Prospect House has stood watching the world pass by.
Thousands of people have travelled along this road, walked beside its walls and glanced up at its imposing windows—but how many have wondered about the history hidden behind the red door?
One of the most common things visitors tell us is: “I’ve passed this building for years and always wondered what went on inside.” Many say they have always felt strangely drawn to it, without really knowing why.
Now you no longer have to wonder.
Built in 1847, in the shadow of the former Norman castle, Prospect House has witnessed generations come and go. Its rooms have their own stories, and paranormal teams continue to report unexplained voices, footsteps, knocks and movement from within.
You can now step beyond the walls, explore the building for yourself and conduct your own paranormal investigation—including the option to remain through the night and into the following morning.
