Massive shout out to our 120+ volunteers who made this event possible and a success!

Our Summer Festival is an extremely unique event in that it is delivered predominantly by volunteers.......we are so proud of all their hard work, particularly in the high heat!

Well what a weekend!

On behalf of the whole team at Mind in Havering, Barking and Dagenham we would like to thank all of those who attended our festival events this past weekend!

It was a great mix of music, entertainment and family fun, in the best weather we have ever had for the event! All of you that attended have done your part in helping to raise funds and awareness for mental health.

A massive thank you to our team of amazing volunteers who have been working so hard all week long (in very hot weather!) to put the events all together - we couldn't have done it without you!

TICKETS
-To access your tickets for the event please download the SKIDDLE app. https://www.skiddle.com/app.php/

-Please have tickets ready on arrival to be scanned

ARRIVAL INFORMATION
-The event takes place in Harrow Lodge Park, Hornchurch, RM11 1JU
-The only entrance to the event site is along the footpath behind the carpark. This footpath runs down to Abbs Cross Lane and Hornchurch Road. What three words: https://w3w.co/steep.leave.poppy
-The gates open at 5pm. The event is due to finish at 10:15pm and no later than 10:30pm.
-There is NO dedicated carpark for this event. Please park safely and respectfully in the local area or use public transport.

WHAT CAN YOU BRING IN
-Pop up chairs are allowed. No gazebos/tents/tables
-You can bring an umbrella just please make sure it doesn’t impede anyone else’s view of the stage!
-There will be an area at the front of the stage/barriers that must be kept free from chairs and other items (dance floor area!) This will be clearly marked out
-Dogs on leads.
-No children! This is an over 18 only event!
-You can bring in your own food.
-Only soft drinks in SEALED UNOPENED cans/plastic bottles are allowed in. For example, bottles of water, cans of coke etc that are SEALED and UNOPENED. NO GLASS! No refillable containers will be allowed in
-NO alcohol is permitted to be brought into this event.
Our security team will be very strict and will conduct FULL SEARCHES. Our licence depends on these rules being abided by and there will be no exceptions.

ON SITE FACILITIES
-A bar (of course) selling beers, wines, ciders, prosecco, pimms, vodka, gin, rum, cocktails, non-alcoholic drinks and soft drinks on sale. The bar takes cash and card payments.
-A range of food units including burgers, Indian, Caribbean, sausages, pizza, vegan and more!
-A Rock Stage with local bands!
-A ‘Silent Disco’ hosted by DJ Scott’e’rich. This is free to enjoy. Please do not take the headphones out of the silent disco tent!
-Toilets including disabled access ones

There are NO cash machines on site
There is NO running water but will be plenty of water on sale.

You’ll be glad to hear that this is a fundraising event with all money raised going to local mental health charity Mind in Havering, Barking and Dagenham (the organisers). Havering Mind

All the event crew working at the event are VOLUNTEERS! Without them this event couldn’t take place so please give them a high five when you see them!
