Kwasi Kwarteng confirms cuts of £18bn for public services! 😤

The move has been described by economic experts as one which is likely to have an “extraordinary” impact on our NHS and schools!

Kwarteng argued that it was right to stick within spending allocations made in 2021 despite inflation now being more than twice the forecast peak of 4% made then!

Hi all. Some bad news in that Southgate Theatre has had to be temporarily closed due to urgent structural work being carried out. This is unexpected and means that we cannot open for any clubs or groups, including productions, until the work has been carried out. This means that there will be no Shooting Stars for the next few weeks and also that, without a rehearsal space, we will be unable to perform 'The Delinquents' at Honley Feast. Really sorry about this. I'll let everyone know when The Stars are about to start up again. In the meantime use your Tuesdays to spend more time doing school homeworks! 😀

Hi all. Apologies, but there will be no Shooting Stars,this evening due to the theatre having it's floorboards removed. We may have a change of venue for next week but I'll keep you posted. Cheers, Jon. In the meantime keep going over 'The Delinquents' script. 😀
