Jan was a nurse and a keen supporter of her hospice. Local running club Wye Valley Runners - organisers of the iconic Crocodile 8 race plan to honour her memory - and they also plan to raise a few bob at the event for St. Michael's.

The iconic Crocodile 8 multi terrain race is due to take place again on Sunday 28 May at 3pm.  The quirky but highly popular event will see runners from across the country descend on the villages of Burghill and Tillington and run across fields, woodland up steps and across the challenging ascent...

🛑 ROAD CLOSURES! ✋

RUN Hereford | Today 🏃‍♂️🏃‍♀️

A friendly reminder that to keep our RUN Hereford runners safe during their run later today, several roads in Hereford will be closed. We are sorry for any inconvenience the road closures may cause, and would like to thank the local community for their support and understanding.

🛑 Stretton Sugwas roundabout (A480 and A4103) to the Roman Road junction with Tillington Road (opposite Ned Potter Ltd) from 9.30am to 2.00pm.

🛑 Tillington Road between the Roman Road (A4103) and the crossroads near Burghill Valley Golf Club between 10am and 11am.

🛑 Crowmoor Lane (near Burghill Valley Golf Club) - all directions 10.00am to 2.00pm.

🟨 Diversions will be in place, with marshals on hand to answer any queries and allow access to and from homes and businesses when deemed safe to do so.
