We have a job vacancy for a permanent Bar Staff with opportunity for promotion to assistant manager.
Hours will be spread across midweek, & weekends, afternoon and evening shifts. Hours will be between 2-11pm midweek, 12-12am Friday and Saturday and 12-10pm Sunday.
Must be 18+ | Must be flexible| Honest | Hardworking | Reliable| Bar Experience Essential, cellar experience preferred.
Would suit someone as their main job as shifts vary and last minute shifts may need to be covered.
🍻 Bar work—it’s fun, fast-paced, and no two shifts are the same. It’s also hard graft, so we want people who are actually up for it.
🤷🏼♀️ What you’ll get stuck into:
• Serving drinks, keeping things clean and running smoothly, changing kegs, cellar work.
• Working as part of a team in a hands-on environment
• Communicating well with management—we listen, support, and appreciate good staff
• Staying focused, professional, and phone-free during shifts
• Smiling through the chaos
• Must be able to put your phone down for longer than 3 minutes.
• Must be able to handle the odd idiot (and spot when it’s your turn).
• Banter levels: medium to strong.
• Not afraid to get your hands dirty – it’s a proper shift, not Love Island.
• Team player – if you’re the type to disappear when it’s time to collect glasses, re-stock the fridges or clean the toilets, this probably ain’t for you.
• Smiling under pressure is a bonus. Eye-rolling behind the scenes is expected.
• Basic common sense and initiative are required.
•a level of fitness - you’re on your feet for hours and have to move kegs about!
