Hastings Borough Council is pleased to announce that there is funding available to support creative, cultural and community activity exploring Norman themes between 1 April 2026 and 31 March 2027.

Submissions now open at coastalcurrents.org.uk/2026submissions everyone welcome to submit whatever your art form or creative talent. Open Studios will be on the 5/6 and 12/13 September this year. Any events happening in Aug/Sep/Oct/Nov also welcome. This festival only survives on the power of everyone coming together and taking part, so get your creative friends and neighbours to open their sheds, studios, warehouses, houses and put on a gig, performance, exhibition etc. Let's make this year epic and help support the local creative economy by creating the biggest independent Coastal Currents Arts Festival yet! Share!

Closing Party - this Saturday, 7pm

In celebration of all participating artists past and present, we are hosting a FREE Coastal Currents 2025 Closing Party at the Observer Building, Cambridge Road, Hastings, this Saturday 27 September at 7pm.
