Thanks to everyone who came to one of our umbrella decorating workshops! Unfortunately due to high winds and horrible rain the Umbrella parade won’t be going ahead today but you can still show off your amazing umbrellas at the White rock theatre where live music and a party will still be happening!

Drop into one of our free umbrella decorating workshops with Radiator Arts and get yourself ready for the parade!

Hypha Studios – Friday 13th Feb – 3-5pm
Hastings Museum – Saturday 14th Feb – 11am-1pm
White Rock Theatre – Saturday 14th Feb – 2pm-4pm

Then join the Umbrella Parade -filling the streets with colour, live music, dancers, and festival-goers of all ages.
From Seafront Promenade – bottom of London Rd, St Leonards at 12PM Sunday 15th Feb, then into the White Rock Theatre for an afternoon of music.

A lovely 2 days spent with Castletown primary school getting very creative and learning engineering and construction skills for the creation of a giant fish and smaller fish , seagulls and fish scales for Hastings old town carnival! The children are also making costumes and head dresses!

Just a couple of weeks until Hastings Fat Tuesday!!! Next week's half term workshops are free! Just bring a brollie with you to decorate - all materials provided. Then bring it to the parade on Preservation Sunday on the 2nd March - see you there!!!
