This will be our last post for a while, so I want to use this opportunity to thank everyone who has supported us with this years display, Frenchay Christmas Tree Farm for giving us those beautiful trees, our display just wouldn't be the same without them. We'd like to thank Morrisons Hartcliffe and Tesco Brislington for your donations of sweets and mince pies, it helps us massively to keep the costs down while allowing us to continue to entertain. A huge thank you goes to Christmas Dubs for once again coming back to Hollisters and putting on a spectacular show, allowing those who are unable to get out and about see you and lastly an almighty shout out goes to Ride2Raise. We will be forever in your debt for all the incredible things you have done for us and our community. The crazily insane donation to help us stock Candy Cottage and the incredible ride you had to reschedule, now we are fully aware you could of done any of the other rides on that day but you stuck with us and kept your promise. You truly are remarkable people and we will never forget your generosity and kindness. ❤🤗

One more shout out goes to my family, my husband Mark and father in law Alan for making the displays, for listening to my ideas and making it happen, for my mother in law Sally who most nights would be outside running Candy Cottage and for part of the time, all on her own. Jack, our son, who on the weekends ran Candy Cottage, my beautiful daughter Abbie, who took ownership of the tombolla, who handed out sweets and helped out with our last minute raffle. My two lovely nieces and my best friend Samantha, the whole family gets involved and we really couldn't do it without them all. Just look at all the amazing charities, along with all your help we have managed to fundraise for.

Now I know I have said this before but this year, 2025 will be our very last displays. The displays are emotionally and physically draining, and what with us all getting older and our Jack going off to university, we couldn't possibly continue, it just wouldn't be the same. I promise though, we won't be going out quietly, we will be going out with a bang. 🎃🎄

If you do visit, we have left sweet bags outside so please do help yourself to them and if you do have any spare change we would be extremely grateful. Candy Cottage will be open this evening for the very last time this year :(, at an earlier time of 4pm and will close at 6pm. Lights will stay on until 9pm. Everything in Candy Cottage will be at a 50% reduction so come and grab your hot chocolate and sweet bags before they are all gone. We do still have a few raffle tickets for sell and we've added to the prizes. Tickets only cost £1 per strip with the draw taking place at 6pm tonight.
We are knocking up the music too, this is a celebration after all.

If you were hoping for a white Christmas than this is the place to be. Candy cane or chocolate coin given to every child. ❄☃️

Thank you to everyone who visited tonight, it was truly lovely to see so many smiling, excited, happy little faces. The weather was finally on our side.

So we've just totalled up the money and considering the terrible weather we've had this year and the many days we've had to cancel, we are ecstatic to tell you we have raised,
£4,465.33.
With all of your help, a little house in Hartcliffe has almost managed to raise £25,000 since 2020.
Thank you all from the bottom of our hearts.
For Mikey's World , in the memory of dear Mikey❤ this money means they can buy life saving bleed kits and train the staff in using them, for Together for Short Lives is a gift to families because every child deserves a magical Christmas, particularly when time is short.❤
