Thanks to everyone who joined us for yesterday! 😁 We had a lovely afternoon catching up at Ferry Meadows, before heading to Wendy's and ending with the obligatory visit to Krispy Kreme 🍩 (where the hot light was on! 😋)

Zoe and I are on our way, but traffic has been horrendous and now having trouble charging the car at Cambridge Services. Please grab a spot and make yourselves comfy, and we'll be there as soon as we can 🤬

It's the final countdown to ! 🥳

A few last bits of info ahead of the weekend:

- We won't be bringing a BBQ this year as we can't fit it in the car, but feel free to bring your own (must be raised off the ground and no gas BBQs are allowed at Ferry Meadows) or bring your own picnic food... 🧺🍖

- Please arrive anytime from 1pm. We'll be near the car park, close to our normal spot at Ferry Meadows, so keep your eyes peeled for where we are. I'll try to share an update on the day 🚘

- It's looking like a dry and warm day (at the moment, we all know what the weather forecast is like! 😂), so please bring gazebos, chairs and outdoor games etc. if you'd like to 😎 And don't forget your suncream!!

- Dogs are welcome, we'll be bringing our beagle with us 🐶 The plan is to stay at Ferry Meadows into the evening rather than going to the pub so early 👍🏻

Nathan and Zoe here, your guest hosts for this year's ReevesFest 👋🏻

5 weeks today and we'll hopefully have been basking in glorious sunshine at Ferry Meadows all day! ☀️ We can't wait to see everyone there, let us know in the comments if you're coming ⬇️

A couple of updates for you all;

- as we aren't local, we won't be there the Friday night and therefore won't be booking a table at the pub that evening. If you're staying the Friday night, please make your own arrangements 🍺 (feel free to use this page to arrange something between yourselves)

- we'll likely be bringing our dog (due to logistics in the fact he's still recovering from an op), and we know a few others may want to too 🐶 So we're suggesting staying at Ferry Meadows into the evening (weather permitting!) rather than going to the pub so early. We'll bring along some lights etc. so we're not sat in the dark, but please bring jackets/blankets etc. and also food for your dinner! What's everyones thoughts on this?

Everything else will be the same as always; same place, same date etc. and we can't wait to see as many of you there as possible. Share with your friends and bring them along - the more the merrier! 🎉

For those wondering Reevesfest is still going ahead. The lovely Zoe & Nathan have agreed to host. Same place as previous years. They are admins here so any questions just shout. Hope those going have a lovely day 😊

It’s been a while so we thought we’d remind everyone of the date for this years community BBQ. It’s slightly earlier this year due to Lisa’s business commitments, so Reevesfest will be Saturday 3rd Aug, same place as always. Hope to see some of you there 😊

Another Reevesfest in the bag, this was our sixth year of organising for the wonderful Disney community. Fab afternoon and evening. Big thank you to Lakeside Kitchen and Bar for allowing us to use an area for our get together this year to escape the rain, followed by a lovely evening in the bar at the Beefeater Granary. Great to see those that made the effort despite the weather. Hope to see you again next year!

The rain can’t stop us, the lovely people in the lakeside cafe have let us have an area at the back!!! Park in the big car park opposite our usual area and you’ll see the cafe building to the right

Plans for this weekend - so unfortunately we can’t control the weather and it looks like rain is forecast. If worse comes to the worse there is the lakeside cafe or the pub we can retreat to. Although it said rain and thunderstorms today and it’s been lovely sunshine so 🤷🏻‍♀️

Friday night we’ll be in the pub (Beefeater Ferry Meadows) from 7pm. Not sure if anyone is coming Friday night or not, if not Simon and I will have a meal together 😂

Saturday we do have the pub booked from 6pm I believe but I’m sure if we needed to we could go early depending on availability.

Look forward to seeing those still coming this weekend 😊
