As you know Dobiefest has had to be rescheduled and location change due to the weather causing issues for parking.

Dobiefest is now being held on 18th October 2025 at ARENA UK SHOW Centre The whole event is now inside.

First of I hope you haven't forgotten but this is the first year with a headline sponsor which is Non-stop dogwear which is huge news to have them backing Dobiefest and Lincs Dobermann Rescue Reg Charity 1172592 - Community Group

I also want want to shout out a few companies for making some amazing donations for Dobiefest to go in raffles or to go to some of the dogs in our care too. So the first few I want to thank are, Ancol Pet Products, Cannon Hall Farm, Stampede Equestrian, The Golden Paste Company and Theakston Brewery

Want to find out more about Dobiesfest head on over to www.dobiefest.com Here you can pay for parking into the event which is just £5 per car and that gets you fully into the event. Whether its 1 person per car or 5 its still just £5

Due to circumstances out of our control in the last 24 hours we regret to inform you that we have been left with no choice but to rearrange Dobiefest 2025. The heavy rain that has fallen in the last two weeks has made the outside area at Oakridge unusable, they have tried everything to enable Dobiefest to take place and we thank them for that but sadly the British weather has beaten us.

The new date is 18th October at Arena UK, Allington Ln, Grantham NG32 2EF and the whole event will take place indoors.

We understand that this is going to cause some upset and uproar but this isn't a decision we have taken lightly and we have worked tirelessly over the last 24 hours to resolve this as quickly as possible so we can let you all know as soon as we were able to secure a new venue and date.

We understand some people have made bookings for accommodation elsewhere and we hope you are able to get your money back or even better to be able to change it to the new date.

Anyone who has made a booking for car parking, camping, show entry or stall holders will be contacted over the coming days to see if they are able to still attend on the new date and venue and want this transferring across or a refund can be issued.

Once again this is out of our control and we have worked tirelessly over the last 24 hours to resolve this as quickly as possible and we hope you understand and that you will be able to still join us in October for a great day out.

For 2025 Dobiefest are introducing an Agility Ring featuring demonstrations by Trent Valley Dog Club and the opportunity for visitors to Have-A-Go with their own dogs for £2.00.
Agility is an action–packed rollercoaster of excitement for you and your dog. It’s made up of various obstacles for your dog (not you!) to run through, jump over, and weave in and out of – and all against the clock! Not only does agility test your dog’s fitness, it also measures your ability as a handler to direct your dog through the course.

Dogs who compete in agility must be motivated, focused and, above all, have a strong relationship with their handler. When you step into that ring, it’s just the two of you in the world, taking on the course ahead and having a blast together! Any breed of dog can enjoy agility, but they must be in good physical shape and fully developed physically. Agility requires a lot of twists, turns and stamina to make it around the course.
Due to the physical exertion involved in agility, it’s important for dogs to be fully grown before they officially start. This will vary by breed but generally is around 12-18 months of age.
Please make sure when exercising your dog around the course that they are NOT wearing a harness or a choke / half-choke collar

The Kennel Club Good Citizen Dog Training Scheme

What's that??

Established in 1992, The Kennel Club Good Citizen Dog Training Scheme is the largest dog training programme in the UK. The scheme is open to all dogs, young or old, pedigree or crossbreed. Dogs do not need to be registered with The Kennel Club to take part. The scheme promotes responsible dog ownership by teaching owners to train their dog for everyday life situations. There are four award levels: Puppy Foundation, Bronze, Silver and Gold.

The bronze award aims to produce a dog that will walk and behave in a controlled manner. It is a basic standard that all adult dogs can achieve with correct handling. Owners must show that they have means of picking up after their dog and that their dog is wearing a lead and collar with the name and the address of the owner inscribed on the collar/disc to take part.

The bronze award scheme on the day will be run by the Trent Valley Dog Training Club and cost £3.00 which includes your certificate should you pass, dogs do not have to have passed the Puppy Foundation to take the Bronze Award.
Full details of the bronze award can be viewed at

Whilst at Crufts we spoke to one of the companies we have been talking to regarding DOBIEFEST 2025

They confirmed that not only are they going to have a stand at Dobiefest but also that they are going to be the headline sponsor for the event. All this work is down to Richard Garton putting in the hours of hard work to find us a big name sponsor to help support Lincs Dobermann Rescue Reg Charity 1172592. and Dobiefest.

So we are extremely proud, happy and excited to announce that
Non-stop dogwear are THE HEADLINE SPONSORS FOR DOBIEFEST 2025 AND ARE HAVING A STAND TO SELL AND PROMOTE THEIR PRODUCTS. This is HUGE and absolutely amazing news.
