This happens. Laughter, passion, people genuinely getting excited about and arguing for future Scottish TV they believe in. Last night, the audience decided on the third commission for No Mean Drama. The powers-that-be would tell you Scottish audiences aren’t bothered about new & local stories, that to get people to watch they need to fly stars and creatives in from down south & the States. We beg to differ. Tickets are on sale for June now. Come and be a part of what we’re building…

I realise that saying g*n 25 times will probably get this video banned 😂 One of the core parts of Glasgow Tellyfest is that it removes everything from your chances except for whether your story catches our attention. We don’t care about your training or your precious credits, what you’ve written or directed before, if anything. How you are “in a room” doesn’t make a difference, nor does how much you researched Glasgow Tellyfest before submitting. HOWEVER this was the last submission round for which we’ll go back and forth and fix your submission if it doesn’t meet our formatting criteria. From the next window, we will simply reject any submissions that aren’t vertical. You have been warned! 😆

NEW SUBMISSION WINDOW OPENS MONDAY!!!! All the info you need is on our website, the submission form will go live first thing Monday morning. The window closes on Friday 22 May, but if it’s your first time submitting we advise getting in early so if there’s any issue with the format you’ve got time to turn it around within the window. All submissions received by midnight on Friday 22 May are final. GOOOOOOOD LUUUUCCCKKKKKK!!!!!!
