Through this project we are discovering what it means to be a young artist today and the versatility and flexibility needed in order to generate work. We are all actors, writers, directors, movers, musicians and technicians and we are using this plethora of talent to create work that we truly believe in.
“Dear Friend,” is a play about a man who escapes his mundane life in order to discover what i
t means to be himself in a world that’s constantly labeling him and limiting him. We have been working for the past year on the idea and script of “Dear Friend,” and are excited to continue working on it through the Edinburgh Fringe Festival and into the future. As a company we have become enamored with the idea of breaking the boundaries that have been set for us by social institutions and cultural constructs.
“Dear Friend,” is the first step.
