We are delighted to have another legend joining us in Glasgow, and a massive shout out to the Highway to Hull Burlesque Weekender for once again brining us in on this cheeky wee collaboration!

Here’s a wee bio on our esteemed guest to wet yer whistle:

⭐️Madame E⭐️

Madame E began her career dancing as Pearl Divine in Honolulu in 1970, and traveled to Guam and throughout the Pacific entertaining the troops during Vietnam. From there she moved to Los Angeles, where she worked small clubs and began dancing at private parties for celebrities and entertainers while she raised 2 daughters and attended college. She returned to the Burlesque stage in the early 2000s as Madame E, was welcomed into the Burlesque Hall of Fame as a legend by Dixie Evans, and had been taking off her clothes on stages across the country ever since.

🎉 ANOTHER ANNOUNCEMENT 🎉

We’re sure many of you have met the awesome performer, photographer, model, all round creative and maw tae Frank the unbothered Pug that is Dame Diablo Burlesque in one form or another she also runs a smashing wee studio in Bridgeton called Calvard Creative?

Not only is it super accessible via public transport, it also happens to be wheelchair accessible too.

Dame Diablo has worked incredibly hard to make both her creative space and photography studio a welcoming, safe environment for all. So the other day we gave her a wee WhatsApp and said, “Eh, No.1, how’s Frank? And No.2, Dame Diablo hen, fancy hosting some events for us?”

Thankfully Frank, and of course his maw, said yes.

So we are absolutely delighted to be teaming up with this creative powerhouse to bring you even more events such as Q and A’s, workshops, filming days, photoshoots, talks and many more.

Starting with a Madam E’s Plus Size Seduction Workshop and An Afternoon with Madame E both on the 5th September.

Wonderful GFoBbers!

Would you like a workshop on applying to festivals? This would be most likley a Thursday night in August.

Our guest speaker is highly experienced, incredibly knowledgeable and has vast experience within BHoF.

Alsoooo.. how about the history of the neo burlesque scene? We could do a double whammy for you all of you’re interested!
