Hey ho writers. The regular deadline for the TV Sitcom Writing Competition is this Sunday 14th June (13:59:59:59:59) BST.

The top 5 scripts will be read by industry expert judging panel of Polly Howarth, development assistant at Kudos Productions, Morwenna Gordon, producer at Expectation TV and Janette Linden, agent at PBJ Management. Then promoted to producers, production companies and agents.

Hello. To all the budding TV Sitcom Writers out there. The Short Com TV Sitcom Writing Competition opens its cyber doors this coming Monday, the 6th of April. Apparently, that is Easter Monday, but it can take a back seat this year.

This is a competition that judges scripts on their writing quality, ahead of marketability. The top five scripts will be passed on to our fantastic industry judges and then touted to the wider UK industry of producers and agents and the winner will receive a year's membership for the no.1 comedy education platform BCGPro, thanks to the British Comedy Guide.

Entry fees remain frozen from last year. And we are able to offer some waiver fees for those in particular financial hardship who would like to enter.

Hi everyone. Our original date for Short Com as part of the Glasgow International Comedy Festival on March 14th has sadly been cancelled due to the demise of the CCA. We're sad for the people who have lost their jobs at the venue, and it was the venue we first ever screened in Glasgow. We hope a solution to have it back open can be solved as soon as possible.

We now have a new date for you now Glasgow. We'll be moving to GMAC on the new date of the 28th March. Ticket and schedule still to be announced. But save the date!
