To mark the start of Pride Month, Directors Keith Emmett III and Lee Kaye, alongside Treasurer Amy Claxton, attended Milton Keynes City Council’s Pride Month reception and flag raising in the Civic Gardens.

It was great to hear reflections on the importance of inclusion, visibility and celebrating the diversity that makes Milton Keynes such a vibrant city.

Alongside the flag raising, the reception provided an opportunity to connect with local organisations, community groups and civic leaders as Pride Month begins.

Moments like these are an important reminder that Pride is about visibility, community and ensuring everyone feels welcome in our city.

February marks LGBT+ History Month.

Founded by Schools OUT in 2004 and first marked in the UK in 2005, it’s a time to reflect on the progress made by and for the LGBT+ community — and to recognise the work that still lies ahead.

We’re pleased to share that our Milton Keynes Pride Festival 2025 Impact Report and 2026 Sponsorship Pack are now available for organisations interested in supporting Pride in Milton Keynes.

These documents reflect the continued growth of the festival, the impact Pride has across our city, and how organisations can be part of that journey moving forward.

The 2025 Impact Report looks back on what we achieved together.

The 2026 Sponsorship Pack looks ahead, outlining opportunities to support a free, accessible Pride while gaining meaningful visibility and connection with our community.

As we look towards 2026, we’re excited to continue building Pride with partners who share our values and commitment to inclusion.

If your organisation would like to receive the report or find out more about sponsorship opportunities, please contact us at [email protected]

Tonight, Milton Keynes is lit green 💚 in memory of James Lee Williams • The Vivienne • on the anniversary of their passing.

Our city joins others across the UK - including Liverpool and Manchester - in a shared moment of remembrance for a global drag star who reshaped q***r visibility and culture.

At the heart of the city, green light shines across Hotel La Tour Milton Keynes and thecentre:mk - a visible act of solidarity, made possible through partnership and rooted in community.

The Vivienne headlined our very first Pride in 2019. Their impact didn’t stop on a stage - it stayed with us, and it still does.

Through our ongoing work with The House of The Vivienne, we honour that legacy with care, compassion, and purpose - and encourage anyone affected by addiction, or who may be struggling now, to connect with the charity and the support it champions.

It’s a reminder that legacy isn’t just what we remember - but how we look after one another.

Their legacy continues to shape us.

Because we knew you, we have been changed for good.
